CREATURE LADIES

“Creature Ladies” is a series of portraits that pays homage to women in creative professions. These creative women open the doors of their workspaces to share what inspires them and their creative processes, accompanied by their animals, which are an essential part of their family nucleus.
At the same time, the artist carries out this project as a transition from her mourning of not being a mother. Meeting other women who are not mothers, accompanies her in this moment of free choice that, like so many other decisions, involves letting go of a possible path.
These relationships are interpreted by the author in a symbolic way, creating a world and style of her own in oil painting.
